I have to say overall that I’m glad I decided to give a newer model of the Apple Watch a try. It’s come a long way since the first version in terms of responsiveness and usefulness. I still can’t call it a must have device for everyone, but there are definitely more use cases for it today than there were before.

Series VI. I had a Fitbit, but recent changes to their app made it a completely inaccessible experience, and I didn’t feel comfortable putting my personal data into something I couldn’t completely control.
What happened to it? I have one as well, so I haven’t used it very much.
It started when I realized they’d done an update that seemed to require I set alarms and make use of the other apps directly from the Fitbit, which is impossible because there’s no screen reader. From there, I just started thinking that since I had bought the thing to track symptoms of a chronic condition, I needed something that would consistently give me access to that information.
