Hey @Discord? I pay for my iPhone, I pay for a Nitro subscription, and I help test for A11y. You don’t have the right to just pull my access to #NSFW content when I’m over 18. #BringBackNSFW

Actually they do. It’s the same thing with the First amendment auditor people not understanding, just because a company allows public access, doesn’t make it a public forum. It’s a private company allowing access for the public, not the other way around.
It’s specific to iOS users. They’re effectively punishing me for my choice in devices.
It still doesn’t make it your right. It’s the same thing as saying I can go to Walmart and throw shit all over the floor and expect they can’t ban me from the store because they keep it open to the public.
You do have the right to post it, but they also have the right to remove the posts from their company property.
iPhone users aren’t breaking any rules as set by Discord by using an iPhone. What you described probably violates a behavior policy of Walmart.
So if what you say is true then all XBox games need to work on Playstation 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Super Nintendo, Atari 5200, Apple IIE etc. Companies do have the ability to choose what platforms they allow access to. For example the iMessage on Android thing.
Your argument is based on the compatibility of programs. The’s no compatibility issue here.
Compatibility has nothing to do with it. Companies can choose to support a platform or not support a platform. I’m pretty sure in their end user agreement, you using their software doesn’t make you the owner of their software, or able to be a company board member Just sayin’.
What you might want to do to get around their platform restriction though is to either find a jailbroken version, or if they have a version for Android, get an Android device.
It basically comes down to if you want to play in all of the playgrounds, you need to get a key to all of the playgrounds.
And in regards to the NSFW thing you mentioned I’ll say, if you want to run through the store naked, you have to make sure you own the store, otherwise the owners can kick you out.
Blame Apple; they require app developers to block adult content in their apps.
That’s not what a first amendment auditor is, just a heads up. A first amendment auditor is an independent citizen who films public officials in their official capacity.
