Wax impaction in my ears requiring the reduction of time spent with earbuds in plus official documentation of my photophobia equals me buying a set of Bose Frames. Best. Thing. Ever!
If I had to stop doing earbuds I’d just use my aftershocks, which work well oungh thankfully, but I am intrigued by the Bose frames. If I had usable sight I would be all over them I think.
Oh, duh… and okay then yeah that does sound good. I do do the stereotypical thing but only because I want my eyes protected and so people don’t have to stare at closed lids.
I don’t care that I am the stereotype, I always had glasses and I feel more comfortable outside with them. In my own house I’m fin ewithout, but I got too used to that protection. I get really anxious without them, honestly.
@changeling Funny! I just sent a review into one of my editors about the Bose Frames Tempo. I’d recommend those. π I also think I did the review justice.
How much are those?
I will end up paying $249, but that’s with a set of extra lenses. You can swap out the colors.
Nifty. I’ glad you found a good solution.
Price gave me pause, but then I realized it’s like buying Airpods Pro with an accessory.

Theyβre not a display, just sunglasses, so you donβt need vision to benifit. I donβt have useable vision, either.

And I figured you may be able to get prescription lenses, but I know very little about them. Looked at them once but the price point made me balk.
Exactbby. Not only am I photophobic, I have no eye control, so they role like crazy.

Yeah. Iβve had a few instances where the glasses have kept things out of my eyes.
